the statement was a translation of the hadith - now one can quibble that kafir's dua is not accepted, or a fasiq's dua is not accepted, or asking the impossible such as prophethood is not accepted etc. but the spirit of the statement is, that assuming that you have fulfilled conditions of dua - every dua of yours will be accepted. Yes Alhamdulilah. Recently I had my First professional Examination in medical college and I felt like there was no way I could ever pass it. I made dua during ramadan and Alhamdulilah my dua was accepted. I passed the examination. And there are many other occasions when my dua was accepted. Allah is the most merciful. I accidentally spoiled a series they were watching for the past 4 years, I did not mean to do that. And that person spent the night making duas to harm me. But that person does not regret making such duas and it worries me. .
